This is one of our favorites! Get the kids outside! Elm Fork Nature Preserve offers a great experience and also a free activity for Carrollton residents. The preserve protects many animals including beavers, red-tailed hawks, great horned owls, cardinals, raccoons, and many many more.

The nature trail has also been rated as an easy route, which should allow children to make their way around it without too many issues. There is nothing like an afternoon with the family out in a peaceful area. Sometimes the best things in life are free and this one certainly is one of them!
